“Music of the spheres” refers to the ancient concept of a relationship between the structures of music and those of the physical world, and an awareness of mystical or spiritual qualities being transmitted though composed sound.
Join us on the Summer Solstice as the Gutekunst Flute Choir performs music inspired by and related to celestial spheres both near and far. You’ll enjoy recognizable pieces by Holst, Debussy, and Mendelssohn as well as new works by Lombardo, McLearnon and more.
