Warhawk Galaxy

The Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium, together with the College of Letters & Sciences of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, will host “Warhawk Galaxy” night.  This event is open to University of Wisconsin-Whitewater students and Whitewater community members of all ages. This show will consist of two 25 minutes planetarium shows currently being shared with students in the Waukesha School District—one on the Earth, one on the Sky—and conclude with an Astronomy question and answer session with Prof. Bob Benjamin (UW-Whitewater Dept of Physics).  If weather conditions permit, there will also be telescope viewing of the actual sky!  Please note:  if you do not have a UW-Whitewater connection we ask that you not sign up for this show. (Running time: 90 minutes. The lobby with interactive exhibits will be open 30 minutes in advance.)
